What is the Supremacy in Destiny 2?
The Supremacy is a legendary kinetic sniper rifle. It expectedly deals kinetic damage and uses special ammo. It was first introduced in Season 21 (Season of the Deep, Lightfall expansion) yet it became a feature of a much older raid, the Last Wish. Yes, thankfully we still have this practice of updating legacy content for it to not be just a waste of memory on your PC.
What makes it stand out?
This legendary sniper rifle can get a really great set of perks. The intrinsic legendary perk for sniper rifles is "Rapid-Fire Frame" and it lets you reload slightly faster when your magazine is empty. The curated roll includes these bonuses: Polygonal Rifling, Armor-Piercing Rounds, Rapid Hit, Vorpal Weapon, and Explosive Pact. Polygonal Rifling gets you some extra stability (+10) which is especially important for sniper rifles. Armor-Piercing Rounds make another important improvement for this class of weapon: +5 range. Hitting your enemies from afar is the main idea of sniper rifles after all, isn't it? Rapid Hit gives you a small bonus for stability and reload speed with each precision hit. Vorpal Weapon deals more damage to bosses, vehicles, and guardians with a Super active. And finally, Explosive Pact gets your rifle more stability and reload speed when activating a grenade. You can have even more stacks of the bonus if you use healing grenades or deal final blows with this type of ability. All in all, it's a stability-fest with lots of other lovely bonuses that look quite useful for such a thing as the Supremacy.
How do you obtain it?
Oh, we hate to say it but it's all about grinding. And this time you gotta descend to the Last Wish raid and fight its bosses and open its secret chests to look for this amazing shooter. The best part of this not very fun experience is that you can get the gun from all the encounters + chests, so you don't have to pray to the god of RNG at a particular boss fight. You have 7 shots to get it per week and it sounds much better than your chances of obtaining any exotic gun, for example.
