What is One Thousand Voices?

One Thousand Voices is an exotic power fusion rifle. It does solar damage and uses heavy (purple) ammo. And it's a household name – yes, it's that popular! There are 2 primary reasons for that. First of all, it's just really, really good. Secondly, it has been around for a very long time – since Season 4 (of the Outlaw). It's now even hard to realize how old that is – it was the first season of the Forsaken expansion. And that was the game's second year live. Year 2018! A truly unique exotic stands the test of time and age well as a good wine. Here's your great opportunity to literally touch something genuinely exquisite – the One Thousand Voices fusion rifle! The one and only!

Is this weapon really that good?

You bet! You can't stay popular throughout all this time being trash! The grandeur of this thing starts with its stats: aim assistance is 100, range is 100 (it's not a sniper rifle, mind you). Well, yes, handling is 0 and some other stats look funny too – but it's not because this weapon is bad in some way. It's just absolutely unique and you can't express that with just petty digits!

Now come the perks. The "basic intrinsic" perk is Ahamkara's Eye which just does something spectacular. Upon fully charging this shooter you unleash a beam of destruction and keep dealing damage to everything around for a while.

The exotic trait is Unforeseen Repercussions. It adds up to the might of the death beam and heats up targets hit by it. That means that there will be an explosion on those targets in a little while. It's called a delayed explosion.

Other recommended traits are Extended Barrel (+ range, + handling speed, + better recoil), Liquid Coils (+ damage, - charge time), and Fitted Stock (+10 stability, + better recoil, - handling speed). Naturally, you won't get all those perks in a set as a guarantee. This is just a recommendation but other perks you can possibly get are great too.

How do I unlock it?

We hate to say it, but it's yet another cool exotic whose obtainment involves lots of RNG. This time you gotta venture to the Last Wish raid, defeat its final boss the Riven, get a key that it drops, carry on to the bonus encounter (Queenswalk), complete it, and find a special chest that can be opened with the Riven key. Inside you will possibly find the sought after fusion gun. Possibly. It's like it's possible but improbable – we'd put it this way. The trick is that the drop rate of One Thousand Voices is very low. Like, it's insane how low it is. Imagine being sad with the roll you'll get when you finally get the weapon (if ever). One of the strongest arms in the game is supposed to be hard to obtain after all, so no surprises here.
