WHAT IS EYES OF TOMORROW?

Eyes of Tomorrow is an exotic rocket launcher that deals solar damage and uses heavy ammo. It's a power weapon and it was first introduced in Season 12 (Season of the Hunt) back in the days of the Beyond Light expansion. Although it's not among the newest ones, it's still a very popular choice for everyone who's into rocket launchers so you will not regret obtaining it for sure.

WHAT MAKES THIS EXOTIC SO GOOD?

As any rocket launcher, Eyes of Tomorrow is expected to deal lots of damage. And it does. But unlike most other rocket launchers, the amount of damage it does is just staggering for your opponents. The secret is not just in its stats but also in its perks, as it usually is the case with exotics.

So the most prominent unique exotic perk is Eyes on All. It allows you to track multiple targets at once and shoot them all at once too. So you basically launch several projectiles simultaneously and they reach their respective targets. This gives you unprecedented control over the battlefield and you'll find it incredibly easy to deal with groups of hostiles. But what if you only have one or two targets? The projectiles (a total of 6) will be divided among the targets you have. So if there are 2 enemies, each of them will get 3 shots. If there is just one... Well, all the best to them. They get the whole payload right in their face!

Another perk is Adaptive Ordnance. And it's a perfect continuation and complement to the previous one. If you manage to down 4 targets with one volley with Eyes of Tomorrow, the next one will deal even more damage. Granted, it's not always easy to predict how many enemies you will get rid of with your rocket launcher with this shot, but it's quite possible that you will trigger this perk quite often. The thing is, Eyes of Tomorrow is very powerful, and weaker enemies will be just annihilated by it. Hence it's safe to assume that you will successfully destroy 4 targets every 2-3 volleys. It might not be the most useful perk during boss fights, however, but whenever you get a chance to shoot adds, you'll be alright.

Other cool perks that you can get for this exotic include Smart Drift Control (+10 Stability, +15 Recoil, +5 Velocity, +10 Handling), Alloy Casing (+30 Reload Speed, -10 Stability), and Fitted Stock (+10 Stability, +20 Recoil, -5 Handling).

HOW DO I UNLOCK IT?

The sad truth about unlocking this amazing exotic rocket launcher is the randomness of the experience. This mighty weapon is not given to you as a reward for completing a particularly challenging trial or boring quest line. No, you gotta test your luck over and over by fighting Taniks the Abomination, the final boss of the Deep Stone Crypt raid. That's right, you have to complete the whole raid before you get to fight the NPC that drops the weapon you need. What makes it worse is that this raid doesn't have the master difficulty or anything else that could give you at least 2 chances per week for the weapon. But no, you can only have one drop per week there and that is.

So yes, just do those runs and that's the only way to go about it. However, you should always remember that it's faster and easier to do these runs in good company. And our team is just like that!
