You can get it with a guarantee but it doesn't mean that it's going to be easy. Our team will take care of it. All the steps of the quests – there are not many of them but they are quite tough – will be completed for you with the help of pros from ArmadaBoost. Our finest Destiny 2 professionals will join you in the game to assist you in the raid or will do it all fully instead of you (if you're good to have a boost with account sharing).
What is Destiny 2 Necrochasm?
Necrochasm is an exotic auto rifle (kinetic) that was released in the Season of the Witch (#22) alongside the Crota's End raid. That was a part of the Lightfall expansion in 2023. It has the power of 1600 and high values of Stability (94), Aim Assistance (85), and Reload Speed (76). Like most other raid-related exotics, it has a catalyst and unique perks (Cursebringer & Desperation).
Necrochasm is not just an ordinary gun. In fact, it's a weapon with a long history that started back in Destiny 1's first DLC "The Dark Below". Dear god, that was year 2014 – imagine how long ago it was. This exotic was a part of the Crota's End raid content too. Basically, Destiny 2 just reintroduced the whole raid and most rewards from it, including this iconic arm. Players will obviously argue and disagree on which version of Necrochasm is better – the one from the first game or the second one? But to us it's obvious that the best version is the one you can make use of – so make sure to get your Necro in Destiny 2 as soon as possible with the help of our boost!
What makes Necrochasm so good in D2?
Apart from its outstanding stats, what makes Necrochasm great is its unique exotic perks:
- Cursebringer greatly enhances your final hits with this auto rifle. By hitting an enemy and taking its health down to 0, you activate a Cursed Thrall explosion that both deals damage to the nearby enemies and (curiously) refills your magazine.
- Desperation works well with Cursebringer as it focuses on refilling your magazine after delivering a fatal blow to an enemy. As you remember, Cursebringer refills it automatically. As it happens, you get several lovely temporary bonuses: increase of rate of fire, aim assist, as well as stability.
Necrochasm is literally a killing machine. You destroy a target, it explodes, your magazine refills on its own, you start shooting faster and with more precision. All that leads to destroying even more targets fast. Which leads to more bonuses and destruction of even more targets even faster. You got the idea – that's what the perfect cycle is.
How do you unlock Necrochasm fast?
To everyone's pleasure, Necrochasm's obtainment is not yet another slot-machine. That is, you don't have to complete countless raid runs to defeat the last boss and pray for a drop – no RNG is involved in it this time. What is involved, however, is an exotic quest that will still make you return to the raid several times. Well, okay, let's be honest: there's still some RNG here, since you have to farm fragments that drop from bosses. But their drop rate is not as elusive as that of most exotics and you're likely to get at least a couple of them after 1 run. Okay, we're getting ahead of ourselves here. Let's start from the very beginning.
The exotic quest becomes available after you first clear Crota's End. Just visit the raid vendor and grab it from them for free. Its first part requires defeating a particular number of Hive enemies with a specific weapon that you get by accepting the quest. That weapon is the Husk of the Pit. As you're through with eliminating the Hive, you turn the quest in and your Husk turns into Eidolon Ally. Basically, it's a stronger version of the previous gun with the impressive combination of perks "Rangefinder" & "Perpetual Motion". Obviously, Eidolon Ally is cool but it's still not Necrochasm. Necrochasm is the final form of it and to get it, you'll have to collect 12 fragments of Essence of the Oversoul. You get it for beating the raid's bosses and completing triumphs there. Here's the list of triumphs that give you some Essence:
TRIUMPH | DESCRIPTION | ESSENCE |
Perfected truth | Flawless clear | 3 |
In unison | Clear Crota's End with 6 guardians of the same class | 1 |
Conservation of energy | Complete the encounter challenge for the 1st boss (Lamps) | 1 |
Feather-light | Complete the 1st boss (Lamps) without any player reaching 10 stacks of Weight of Darkness | 1 |
Precarious balance | Complete the encounter challenge for the 2nd boss (Bridge) | 1 |
Threatening reach | Defeat all Swordbearers during the 2nd boss fight (Bridge) from the opposite side of the chasm | 1 |
Equal vessels | Complete the encounter challenge for the 3rd boss (Deathsinger) | 1 |
Communal rites | At least 1 player must expunge the boss during each round of the encounter with the 3rd boss (Deathsinger) | 1 |
All for one | Complete the encounter challenge for the final boss (Crota) | 1 |
Singular sensation | Beat Crota with only one player Enlightened at a time | 1 |
Broken throne | Complete Crota's End at the Master difficulty | 2 |
So in total it's 14 fragments of the Essence which is even more than you need to unlock the weapon. So what do you do with the rest? That's a great question and there's a simple answer to it as well as a simple use to the excess of the essence – catalyst. To unlock it, you gonna need 35 pieces of essence, so these couple fragments will surely help. Don't forget that you always get essence for completing encounters, so these 14 triumph-related fragments are not all you can get a hold of.
