WHAT WEAPONS CAN I GET IN THE ROOT OF NIGHTMARES RAID?
- Acasia's Dejection (trace rifle)
- Briar's Contempt (linear fusion rifle)
- Conditional Finality (solar & stasis kinetic shotgun)
- Koraxis's Distress (grenade launcher)
- Mykel's Reverence (sidearm)
- Nessa's Oblation (shotgun)
- Rufus's Fury (auto rifle)
Conditional Finality (#3 on the list) is the only exotic here and it only drops from the last boss (the fourth one), Nezarec. The chance is low but the weapon itself is pretty awesome. You can check out our Conditional Finality exotic boost if you want to get this gun with a guarantee.
As for other guns, they all drop from different bosses and here's how you can group them in this regard:
- Boss 1 (Cataclysm) drops: Briar's Contempt (#2), Koraxis's Distress (#4), and Nessa's Oblation (#6)
- Boss 2 (Scission) drops: Acasia's Dejection (#1), Koraxis's Distress (#4), Mykel's Reverence (#5), and Nessa's Oblation (#6)
- Boss 3 (Macrocosm) drops: Acasia's Dejection (#1), Koraxis's Distress (#4), Mykel's Reverence (#5), and Rufus's Fury (#7)
- Boss 4 (Nezarec) drops: Acasia's Dejection (#1), Briar's Contempt (#2), Conditional Finality (#3), Nessa's Oblation (#6), and Rufus's Fury (#7)
So as you can see, the first boss drops just 3 guns, the second and the third one – 4 each, and the final one drops 5. Obviously, the drop rate is not 100% so don't expect each run to yield you a gun that you want. It might take several RON runs to finally get what you need, just as it has always been in Destiny 2!
WHAT ARMOR CAN I GET IN THE ROOT OF NIGHTMARES RAID?
There's plenty of legendary loot that you can collect with the help of our Root of Nightmares boost. As usual, you can fill all the 5 slots with new items from the raid. You just need some luck and you'll assemble the entire set within a couple of runs (our pros can make it much easier than it sounds). You can expect the following drops from each of the boss encounters in the raid:
- Boss 1 (Cataclysm): helmet, gloves, chest
- Boss 2 (Scission): gloves, chest, greaves
- Boss 3 (Macrocosm): chest, greaves, class item
- Boss 4 (Nezarec): helmet, greaves, class item
Each class has their own names for those items. Hunter's set is Trepidation armor, that of Warlock is Detestation armor, and Titans have Agony armor.
