The Dragonflight expansion keeps adding peculiar things that make our WoW experience so much more diverse. In the first content update since the release of the expansion itself – although in a minor one – we get an interesting activity-checker system that looks like lots of fun. It's called Trading Post and it's really surprising that it took Blizzard so long to create something like it. Why is it so good and how does it make difference? We'll answer these and other questions about the newly added Trading Post in this blog post below!
Trading Post is a new monthly activity. Each month you get a bunch of new objectives to complete within it. Completing those objectives yields you a special currency (Trader's Tenders) exclusive to the Trading Post. You can use those tenders to buy rewards from the post. They are purely cosmetic and don't give you any combat advantage but they are still really valuable. You'll learn more about that in the dedicated section below.
Say, it's the beginning of the month. The first of whatever – for example, the first of March. You come up to the Trading Post to check what new tasks you're offered. The list is extensive and covers various activities including both highly competitive ones (raids, PvP) and quite casual ones (pets, quests, etc). Most of those tasks – even related to raids and PvP – are not some hardcore objectives that only the elite few can accomplish. No, most of objectives are meant to be fun and enjoyable. It's hard to say if that's going to change but that's how it is in the first month of the Trading Post being active.
You have a "traveler's log" where you can check your progress this month. There's a monthly progress bar that you can fill fully by completing all the tasks of the month. That's going to take lots of time though but it's pretty achievable. If you've managed to do that, you'll get a special monthly reward, too. You can find the Traveler's Log in the Adventure Guide – it's the leftmost tab there now.
The objectives vary in how much effort they take to complete. It affects the number of Trader's Tenders (Trading Post currency) that you get for completing them. So if you want to make the most of the Post but don't feel like completing everything it offers this month, focus on the most lucrative tasks and you'll be good.
What makes it all really fun is the scope of the content used for these objectives. They don't only focus on the current content (the Dragon Isles at the moment) but also on the legacy zones and feasts, both major and minor ones. If implemented right, this Trading Post can make older places much less desolate than they are now.
The Trading Post can be found in the largest cities of the Alliance and Horde – Stormwind and Orgrimmar, respectively. Find the exact locations on the maps below.

Oh, the rewards! The rewards are really juicy, to say the least. They have a monthly rotation and if you haven't bought something there this month, you'll have to wait for God knows how long to see those items again. But it doesn't mean that your Trader's Tenders have been earned with sweat and blood for nothing – by no means it does! Next month a new list of available rewards will be published and you are likely to find incredible options there too.
Why are the options likely to be incredible? Well, that's the idea of these rewards. For instance, in the first month of the Trading Post being live (February 2023), you can find such rewards there as the Celestial Steed mount (previously only available for purchase with real money), the Fury of the Firelord transmog (basically a replica of Ragnaros' hammer Sulfuras), the Garrok pet (that's a baby ogre!), and so much more. Blizzard have made it clear that the Trading Post's rewards will be awesome and so far they haven't let us down.
You can buy all those things with Trader's Tenders that you earn by completing monthly rewards. You can earn as many as 200 tenders by completing a really time-consuming task. And the top reward of the month costs 900 such tenders. So your chances of getting at least something from the Post are quite high, if you ask us.
Another way to get rewards from the Post is filling the progress bar. If you do that, you'll get a free extra reward which is also something to behold. In the first month of the Trading Post being online it's the mount Ash'adar, Harbinger of Dawn. Not only does it look cool (reminiscent of the Spectral Tiger), but also it changes color depending on the time of the day. It's yellow during the day and it becomes blue at night.
Is there any shortcut to the rewards? Of course there are! If you're not a fan of running around the world doing various weird stuff, we've got you covered. ArmadaBoost offers its Trader's Tenders boost to help you accumulate any amount of them within this month up to the maximum (currently 1'000). The price is really enjoyable – even more than usual – since completing all those tasks is a piece of cake for our pros who are used to much more challenging endeavours. So feel free to see our Trading Post service and come back next month for more!

So all in all, Trading Post is lots of fun and an absolutely welcome addition to the game. We'd be happy to see more casual and enjoyable content that focuses on the legacy zones and feasts, and not on slaying dragons and other cosmic threats. Man, this game is called World of Warcraft which is not just "Warcraft", it's also "World of". So it's high time to make that world living and breathing again – sorry for the cliche but we'd really want it to be that way.
And if you ever need any help with collecting those trader's tenders and completing the Trading Post's objectives, you know where to find us! We'll make sure to help you with any challenge! And it concerns not just the Trading Post, by the way – check out our WoW catalog to see what products we offer! Or just get in touch and ask us – we'll be glad to chat!
