Another month, another set of items in the Trading Post. 15 awesome pieces worthy of any collection. Let's see what they are in March 2023.
Item name: Ensemble: Darkmoon Harlequin's Bells.
What is it: Epic cosmetic set with no armor type.
Get it for: filling the Traveler's Log progress bar.
A Darkmoon Faire-themed transmog set with 7 pieces can become yours if you complete the progress bar this month. That's 1'000 points within a month. Not too much if you ask us. It's possible to collect them even if you don't do all the tasks this month.
Item name: Ensemble: Fel-Automaton Exoplate.
What is it: Epic cosmetic plate set.
Get it for: 850 trader's tenders.
A fell-inspired recolor of Paladin's set from the Blackrock Foundry raid. It's been quite a while since it was released – it happened back in Warlords of Draenor. The set is known as "Battlegear of Guiding Light" or simply paladin's T17. This month it gets black and green. Please note that it can only be used by plate-wearing classes: death knights, paladins, and warriors. But it can be purchased and added to the collection by any of your characters.
Item name: Trusty Treasure Trove.
What is it: Epic cosmetic cloak.
Get it for: 750 trader's tenders.
Usual cloaks are boring. Wearing something else on your back for a change is quite a welcome thing. We've already had several backpacks, now it's time to introduce a small treasure chest! This one looks like a perfect fit for any pirate-themed transmog.
Get even more rewards this month!
Do you know that you can get 4 Great Vault rewards this March? You can get them of a way higher item level than usual with the help of our carry services! Check out our WoW Mythic dungeon carry or Vault of the Incarnates carries to see what you can be interested in!
Item name: Ensemble: Glorious Dragonraider's Mail.
What is it: Rare cosmetic mail set.
Get it for: 750 trader's tenders.
A surprising recolor of a set coming from BFA's Island Expeditions. To give you more context in case you missed BFA: Island Expeditions were a 3-player game mode that had lots of rewards most of which were recolors themselves. There were several original items there too but it was quite rare. And the "Dragorider Island Set" was one of them. And now we get a recolored version of it! The selling point of the set is the bare chest with tattoos that you get when you put it on. Honestly, getting this sort of set like this is way better than grinding expeditions so make sure to grab this set before the month's end.
Item name: Pandaren Monk.
What is it: Rare pet.
Get it for: 650 trader's tenders.
Wow, now look at this: we have another item in the Trading Post that used to be exclusive to the Blizzard store. If you haven't bought this little Pandaren fighter with real money before, now is a great moment to get it without opening you wallet. It looks like a great trend to us: getting store items within the game sounds like fun.
Item name: Frozen Shadow.
What is it: Rare cosmetic one-hand sword.
Get it for: 400 trader's tenders.
This is a dark and frosty version of the WotLK's "Hailstorm" sword. It drops from Malygos in the Eye of Eternity raid. The raid is quite short but getting a particular item from Malygos is always a torture as the old blue dragon is definitely friends with wicked gods of RNG. So getting this Trading Post version of the sword is a way less irritating thing and it can be done much faster. The darker option looks even better with some ice-themed transmogs, in our opinion.
Huge shield with a lion's head
Item name: Filigreed Lion's Maw.
What is it: Rare cosmetic shield.
Get it for: 250 trader's tenders.
We don't get new models for shields too often so we're lucky to have a brand new one this month. It's a pure Lordaeronish style: huge lion head, blue and yellow colors, the triangular shape. Your Alliance tanks might be happy with this one! Naturally, it's available for both factions but it just seems more fitting to humans or dwarves. It's believed that this shield is an unused model for the Culling of Stratholm dungeon from the Wrath of the Lich King days.
What about non-cosmetic gear?
Perhaps, your character needs some upgrades? Cosmetic items are nice but your in-combat performance is essential to your progress in WoW. Consider getting a fast and affordable Gearing boost – take a look at our options right here!
Items' names: Triumphant Blademaster's Greatsword and Shadowy Blademaster's Greatsword.
What is it: Rare cosmetic two-hand swords.
Get it for: 225 trader's tenders each.
Blademasters have been popular since the days of Warcraft 3. Finally, we get an authentic sword that would fit that theme. Unfortunately, we still don't have a blademaster class though – but let's wait and see if that's going to change. Anyway, this new sword model comes in 2 colors: red + lighter blade and purple + darker blade. Both are great – choose either that suits your outfit better! Lucky fury warriors: they can wield them both at once!
Item name: Dread Admiral's Bicorne.
What is it: Uncommon cosmetic hat.
Get it for: 175 trader's tenders.
There's no shortage of pirate hats in WoW but here's another one for your hat collection. It's a bicorne (has 2 edges) and it's fully black with a white skull and crossed swords. If you're a fan of pirate-themed looks, this should be on your shopping list! It also goes well with the Trasure Chest back we've mentioned above!
Cloak + hood / scarf outfits x2
Items' names: Ensemble: Vagabond's Midnight Threads and Ensemble: Wanderer's Midnight Trappings.
What is it: Uncommon cosmetic set with no armor type.
Get it for: 100 trader's tenders each.
Yes, the heading here is a bit confusing but so is the idea behind this ensemble. What would you call it? It's some sort of a nomad-themed thing: a hood or a scarf + a cloak. The black cloak comes with a black ragged cloak (Vagabond's Midnight Threads) while the grey scarf comes with a shorter plain black cloak (Wanderer's Midnight Trappings). They both look like a great addition to rogues' wardrobes. Perhaps hunters, warriors, and death knights could make a use of them too? Nah, all dark-themed classes and specs will look awesome in these things.
Item name: Gnomish Liquid Transfer Apparatus.
What is it: Uncommon cosmetic held-in-off-hand item.
Get it for: 75 trader's tenders.
Yeah, it's just a bucket for your off-hand slot. We're not sure what's so Gnomish about it. Perhaps, it's supposed to carry liquid that is Gnomish in some way... Eww! Well, whatever – it looks clean and empty so far, so you can equip it like no problem. If you have a spade or or a pickaxe in your other hand, you will look like a seasoned farmer or miner.
Item name: Greatcloak of the Virtuous Protector.
What is it: Uncommon cosmetic cloak.
Get it for: 50 trader's tenders.
This looks like a typical blood elvian cloak: some golden decoration, then some crimson parts – and there you go. But in fact the context goes beyond that. Back in the Legion we had a class set that featured cloaks which is not something that happens too often. Or happens at all, to be honest. So this cloak originally comes from the respective paladin set. It's called "Battleplate of the Highlord" and is sometimes referred to as paladin's T19. You can get the original cloak from the Nighthold raid, to be more precise, from the Trillax. But the drop chance is about 2% so you better get its Trading Post's version.
Item name: Fabulously Flashy Finery.
What is it: Uncommon shirt.
Get it for: 50 trader's tenders.
It's a good thing to get a new shirt model. This one is, well, mostly purple. At least in the middle. It's more like grey in all other parts. It's a classy one and it looks like something a Dalaran socialite would wear. Try it on, it's quite cheap!
