A hedgehog mount is truly a novelty! While spring might not be the season when most regions harvest apples, this Harvesthog carries plenty of them in baskets on both sides – must be leftovers from last fall's stockpile.
There are also some amusing gardening details, like a spade, a watering can, and a backpack stuffed with all sorts of paraphernalia. It's quite a sight – and it's absolutely adorable! You should definitely add it to your collection.
The only concern we have is the saddle: it's just an enormous tree leaf, which is also surprisingly thin for its size. We just hope your character doesn't get poked by all those spiky bristles while riding!
Okay, let's be honest: not everyone's a fan of chihuahuas. They are often noisy and pesky – especially when their owners aren't exactly examples of thoughtful, responsible citizens. But Weechi? Oh, it's nothing like that! It's a charming little buddy that'll make you smile every time you summon it!
Even better, it introduces a brand-new pet customization system. You can change Weechi's fur color and dress it in all kinds of funny headgear – including a shark hat and even a murloc one! And the best part? You don't need to grind to unlock all those options: they are just available from the get-go. How cool is that?

🐢 Turtle shell back
Item's name: Heroic Half Shell
What is it: a back-slot transmog resembling a giant turtle's shell
Get it for: 225 Trader's Tenders
Finally, some solid protection for your character's back! While a handful of classes that use shields, could use them for this purpose, the majority had their backs exposed! Not anymore: this thick turtle shell leaves no weak spots for sneaky enemies!
Okay, we're joking, of course! As any other transmog item, this shell is purely cosmetic. Hence, sadly, it won't make a rogue ambush more survivable. But on the other hand, it also won't slow you down – a movement speed debuff we'd expect from a real turtle-shell item with stats. That thing would likely be rather heavy!
Also, the way your character wears it gives us Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vibes. Interestingly, that aesthetic actually shows up a lot in this month's Trading Post. And since we've brought it up...
🥷 Ninja weapons
Items' names:
- Large Renaissance Katana (2-Hand Sword)
- Nunchuck of the Renaissance (1-Hand Mace)
- Offhand Renaiisance Nunchuck (Held in Off-Hand)
- Rennaisance Katana (1-Hand Sword)
- Rennaisance Sai (Dagger)
What is it: a set of Ninja Turtles inspired weapons
Get it for: 110-130 Trader's Tenders each
Alright, let's get this out of the way: Dontaello got snubbed. No Bo staff in sight. But if you think of it, a Bo is literally just a big stick, so maybe Blizzard decided that it's not something you'd spend your tenders on. Still, the ninja weapons we actually did get are totally rad!
Leonardo's katana comes in two options: a 1-handed sword or 2-handed. Raphael's sai isn't restricted to the main or off hand – you can just buy two of them and dual-wield like the edgiest ninja turtle of the lot.
And Michelangelo? Blizz did really add a nunchuk, the very first of its kind in WoW – cowabunga, indeed! Like Leo's sword, it has 2 variants: a 1-handed mace and an off-hand item. We can imagine what a nightmare it was to decide which weapon category it should be, as it barely fits any existing one. So making it a mace... A fair compromise, we'd say.
What about non-cosmetic gear?
Perhaps, your character needs an upgrade or two? Cosmetic items are nice but they don't bolster your combat performance – and that's what matters most for your WoW progress. Consider getting a fast and affordable Gearing boost – take a look at our options right here!
🦊 Forest friend transmog
Items' names:
- Ensemble: Attire of the Swift Fox
- Ensemble: Attire of the Woodland Racoon
What is it: a transmog set inspired by forest animals (fox & raccoon)
Get it for: 440 Trader's Tenders either
Now let's move on from ninja reptiles to something a bit more warm-blooded. This month, you can grab two adorable transmog sets inspired by forest critters: foxes and raccoons. Both comes with a cozy hat with animal ears and a fluffy tail to match!
The exact list of slots covered by the sets:
- Head
- Shoulder
- Chest
- Waist
- Legs
- Feet
- Hands
- Back
What's also great about these is that they strike the perfect balance. Your character won't look like a sports mascot. It's the sweet spot between a full-blown fursuit and a plain fur pelt.

Those were our top 5 picks from the Trading Post in May 2025! But don't sleep on the rest, as there are plenty of other great items up for grabs. For example, if you're a dog lover, there's another canine friend waiting for you: the Brown-Furred Spiky Bakar mount. It's very different from Weechi the chihuahua, but it's still a very good boy!
Or if you're into the classic Zorro aesthetic, check out the Vigilante Mask – it comes in several stylish colors. As always, the Trading Post is packed with impressive rewards!
And if you need help with collecting enoughTrader's Tenders, just delegate the grind to professionals! At ArmadaBoost, we offer a wide range of services to assist you with just about any activity in WoW.
