5 Best rewards in WoW Trading Post – January 2025

Year 2025 is already here and so is its first monthly update of the Trading Post. Let's take a look at the coolest items you can purchase from it this January! Here are out top 5 picks!

***

A gorgeous fiery bird

Items' names: Brilliant Sunburst Peafowl
What is it: a flying mount
Get it for: 750 Trader's Tenders

Peafowls aren't very common in Azeroth and beyond. This one's basically the second opportunity players get to acquire this type of mount. The previous peafowl was blue and didn't have any flames around it – but it shared the same source as it also came from the Trading Post (March 2024). It's hard to predict when these majestic birds will become available again, so get it while you can!

An adorable clockwork puppy

Item's name: Wind-Up Wuffi
What is it: a pet
Get it for: 300 Trader's Tenders

Not only is Wuffi adorable, it's also a powerful Mechanical battle pet that can add versatility and strength to your roster. Take a look at its skillset:

SKILLTYPELVLINFO
ChompCritter1Deal Critter damage
Extra PlatingMechanical15Receive 50% less damage for 3 turns
OverchargeMechanical10Deal Mechanical damage + Increase your pet's critical damage by 50% for 3 turns
RebootMechanical2Your pet doesn't do anything for 2 turns, then recovers health
SuperbarkBeast20Deal Beast damage. This skill can't be lethal (the enemy's damage can't go below 1 with it)
Wind-UpMechanical41st use: Increase your damage by 10%. 2nd use: deal Mechanical damage.
Its ability kit is full of strong attacks and power-ups of the Mechanical type which is always a good thing when you fight against beasts (but not when you fight against elementals)!

A goblin lord outfit

Item's name: Green Clockwork Attire
What is it: a transmog armor set
Get it for: 650 Trader's Tenders

If you want to don a goblin lord look, this attire is for you! It looks classy and has a tech-bro vibe to it with all those lights and gear-shaped decorations placed all over it. The full list of the set pieces are as follows:

  1. Head (a hat + goggles)
  2. Shoulder
  3. Chest
  4. Waist
  5. Legs
  6. Feet
  7. Wrist
  8. Hand
  9. Back (Cloak)
A 9-piece set is an impressive collection! There's a high chance that you'll find at least one item suitable for your own look among these 9!

A bunch of gizmos

Item's name: Green Clockwork Contraptions Collection
What is it: a set of transmog items: armor & weapons
Get it for: Filling the monthly progress bar

This arsenal set is a motley crew of gizmos. For some reason it has one armor transmog item: a cloak looking like a strange device of an unknown purpose. The rest are weapons: a 2-hand mace, a fist weapon, a gun, and a shield. While the range is quite peculiar, it's definitely a good thing since virtually any class & spec can use at least one of those items.

What about non-cosmetic gear?

Perhaps, your character needs some upgrades? Cosmetic items are nice but your in-combat performance is essential to your progress in WoW. Consider getting a fast and affordable Gearing boost – take a look at our options right here!

A huge steam-powered clock

Item's name: Steam-Powered Golden Cloak
What is it: a cloak transmog
Get it for: 300 Trader's Tenders

It's certainly an absurd idea to wear a clock on your back but if you ever wondered if a thing of such great uselessness exists, it does! This cloak is not exactly a cloak: it's a huge heavy device that you can wear on your back. It has a clock face with 2 arrows – and anyone can check the time with it... except yourself, of course, since your eyes are on the opposite side of the body.

Those were the top 5 items of this month's Trading Post, in our opinion. It doesn't mean that there's nothing else of interest or importance, of course: there's plenty of great rewards apart from the ones we've picked. For example, if you've wanted your character to hold a bunch of dynamite sticks in their left hand, now you can have that! Check out the Steamwheedle Artifact Extractor to learn more. And don't forget to check out the full catalog of the Trading Post to not miss something that you personally might find particularly valuable.

If you want to collect trader's tenders fast and purchase lots of items this month, don't hesitate to request assistance! We'll be happy to help you with a quick and effective boosting service!
