If you're into raiding, there are few other options for you in the Embers of Neltharion update: the Shadowed Crucible is your only destination! And that's not a bad thing: the raid is quite beautiful and is full of genuinely well-crafted boss fights. You will enjoy each of them and the challenge they all give. What is Aberrus the Shadowed Crucible?

It's a raid that is the main feature of WoW patch 10.1 also known as Embers of Neltharion. It's the fortress of Scalecommander Sarkareth where he and his minions plot their evil schemes. You gotta put an end to that and discover several peculiar things in the process.

Where is this raid located?

You will find Aberrus in the Zaralek Caverns. It' s a new zone in the Dragon Isles which comes as one of the main features of update 10.1. Well, it's rather below the Dragon Isles, as its literally underground. You can access it by descending there via one of the deep caves in other zones. The Aberrus raid is located in the Caverns' northernmost part. Just open the map and you won't miss it – it's pictured there as a huge keep and there's also its name written there in huge letters. 

How many bosses are there?

There are total 9 bosses and they are:

1. Kazzara
2. Molgoth
3. Experimentation of Dracthyr
4. Zaqali invasion
5. Rashok
6. Zskarn
7. Magmorax
8. Echo of Neltharion
9. Scalecommander Sarkareth

That's not too many but it doesn't have to be too many. 9 bosses-raid is more doable for a regular player as it's less lengthy and intense yet still offers challenge and great rewards.

What item level does the loot in this raid have?

The item levels of most items in various difficulties if the raid are like this:

• Raid finder – 402
• Normal – 415
• Heroic – 428
• Mythic – 441

There are also the so called "very rare" items and their ilvl differs from what the difficulty has:

• Raid finder – 415
• Normal – 428
• Heroic – 441
• Mythic – 441 (yes, there's no ilvl difference in Mythic) 

What realms and regions can I have these services on?

You can have these Aberrus carries on any realm of the US and EU regions. There are no limitations to that since raids in the modern WoW are cross-realm. With the exception of Mythic raids, of course, but they remain real-specific only for a while – at some point they also become cross-realm.
