What are ESO currency boosts?

What currencies are there in ESO?

Elder Scrolls Online has an impressively long list of various currencies that are used to buy multitudes of different things. Here are the most common ones:

• crowns
• alliance points

Gold is the primary currency of the game and most things in it can be bought and sold with gold. Players also use it for exchanging stuff among themselves, hence the high demand on it. Crowns are the main premium-store currency and you use it to purchase various cosmetic stuff both for yourself and as a gift. The most common way to obtain it is to purchase it with real money – either right in the game, or in our store (which is cheaper!). And finally, the Alliance Points are a PvP currency that you earn for participating in PvP game modes like Alliance War and Battlegrounds. You spend them on related stuff like gear or utilities.

We've mentioned that there are lots of currencies in the game but only have shown you 3 of them. That list is by no means exhaustive! Here are 5 more currencies that enjoy wide use as well:

• Tel Var Stones – the main currency of the Imperial City that you earn for doing activities there and spend on various stuff exclusive to that zone;
• Writ Vouchers – earn it for completing Master Writs and spend it with Mastercraft Mediators;
• Event Tickets – earn it at in-game events and spend them there to;
• Transmute Crystals – earn it from various activities (like Undaunted pledges) and use it to transmute your equipment's traits;
• Undaunted Keys – purchase items from the Undaunted Pledge Masters with them. Earn them by doing daily pledges in Group Dungeons

And so on! There's even a separate category of quasi currencies known as Service Tokens. They include items that you use to get some service like name change or race change, or whatever. Obviously, we don't sell them as it can only be done via the game client! As for most other currencies, yes, we can get them for you!

Which currencies are the most important?

Gold is king in ESO, just like in most other MMORPGs. You can't go wrong with gold, no matter what. Have as much of it as you need and you will hardly ever think of this purchase as waste of money. It's like a currency conversion in real life – gold is sorta the currency of Tamriel. Imagine that you change your dollars to gold when you go to Tamriel for business or vacation. That's the best way to think of it, in our view! Gold is that important!

As for other currencies that are very important, crowns are essential for everyone who's into cosmetics from the Crown Store. Alliance Points are a key currency for all PvP enthusiasts. All the other currencies are way more niche and you will know if you ever need them. They are not useless – just less commonly used!
