What are vicious mounts?

Vicious mounts might not be the most flashy means of transportation in the game but they don't really have to be that. They are there to show how good a PvPer their owner is. Some mounts belong to both factions – let's clear up what it means. It's not just one mount that can be used by both factions. 2 versions of one mount exist – one is for the Alliance, the other is for the Horde. Whichever faction you unlock it for, is the only faction you can use it with unless you unlock the other one too separately.

Alliance characters can buy all those mounts from the NPC named Necrolord Sipe in Stormwind. While Horde characters can get their vicious mounts from Deathguard Netharian in Orgrimmar.

Each mount costs 1 vicious saddle. The current season's mount can be obtained by filling out the Vicious Saddle bar for the first time in the season – you don't even have to buy it.
