What is Renown in Diablo 4?

Renown is a region-specific progress system in Diablo 4. It sorta shows how well your champion knows a zone. For example, if your renown is high in the Fractured Peaks, it's safe to say that you have explored it quite well, have found most of its secrets, and have mastered most of its activities. As you'd expect, things like this take time, and improving your renown won't be easy and fast. At first, you might even enjoy this stuff as you kind of really discover the new world and learn its ways. But most players will get bored with it with time since both the exploration and renown-producing activities become less exciting and more repetitive. That's a perfect situation for our Renown boost! Our pros don't care if the activity is boring, time-consuming, or hard. They just complete it successfully for you and that's it. You'll get renown leveled up for any zone or all of them at once – have it any way you like.

Why do I need it?

Renown makes your life easier and better in every way. First of all, you get a handsome gold bonus for ranking up through renown tiers. Among other rewards are bonus experience, skill points, paragon points, potion charges, and obol capacity increase. That's a lot of value! But unfortunately, it doesn't come together and at once. Instead, you get a part of this wealth with each new tier you reach. This gradual progress happens to your champion in each zone and you can end up having renown higher in some of them and lower in others.

What rewards do I get with each new tier?

There are 5 renown tiers in each zone and the rewards are identical for them all:

1. Tier 1 (200 renown) – bonus XP, 3k gold, 1 skill point;
2. Tier 2 (300 renown) – bonus XP, 10k gold, 1 potion charge;
3. Tier 3 (400 renown) – bonus XP, 25k gold, 1 skill point;
4. Tier 4 (400 renown) – bonus XP, 60k gold, +80 obols capacity;
5. Tier 5 (500 renown) – bonus XP, 125k gold, 4 paragon points

Each zone will yield you these treasures so make sure to raise renown in them all. Also, note that you don't get the rewards automatically! It might sound outrageous but you actually have to open the map and press W to put all this stuff in your pockets. Yeah, you have to do it all manually. Do you call this good service, Blizz? Alright, just kidding, it's not that bad. And anyway, with our pros this will be the only action you'll have to do manually regarding renown. Our boost will raise your renown level to the one you'd like and the only thing left for you to do will be to press one button in the map menu! Now it sounds a bit fairer, doesn't it?

How do I earn renown?

There's hardly anything you can do within any zone that won't return you some renown. You've just discovered a new area? Hold your new renown, buddy. Found an altar? Great, get even more of it. And so on. Any meaningful action provides you with renown, so you will accumulate lots of it with time. It won't be soon if you don't focus on it, but it seems almost inevitable. However, you should note that some activities yield more renown than others. Here's how they compare:

• Strongholds – 100 renown
• Side dungeons – 30
• Side quests – 20
• Waypoints – 20
• Altars of Lilith – 10
• Areas discovered – 5

Each zone has a limited number of each of these activities. Say, there are only so many areas to discover – obviously, since maps in Diablo 4 are not randomly generated, there's a limit to discovering new places. All the other things on the list are also finite. But it doesn't mean that they are scarce. You can reach Tier 5 of your renown in any zone without finding all the waypoints or altars. Just choose the activities you like most and stick to them. It might not be the fastest way to earn renown but it is the most reasonable one for casual players. And if you want to speed things up significantly, you're gonna need a boost and the one that you're currently looking at is the optimal solution!
