What is Valtan boost in Lost Ark?
Valtan boost in Lost Ark is a handy raid carry that will help you get some of the best PvE rewards in the game. Valtan is an unpleasant foe to fight – this horrible gargantuan monstrosity was once taught a lesson and now has lots of scars on his huge body to show how educated he is. But that doesn't stop him from making more mistakes and now he wants to mess with us, story-wise. And he gives players an intense fight, to be honest.
But it won't be an issue at all if you go into that fight in the company of our pro raiders. We have crushed Valtan for countless times and it won't be a problem for us to do it once more. An adventure is always more fun when you win at the end, isn't it so? So there it is, with our help beating Valtan will be as easy as pie.
What is Valtan in Lost Ark?
Valtan is both a Legion raid and the boss of that raid. This is how Lost Ark raid's get their names for some reason. There are several phases that are actually separate fights with Valtan and as you progress through the raid, you gain the ability to teleport right to the phase you need (through the so called gates) – there are 2 such gates in the Valtan raid.
As for the requirements, there are several of them to keep in mind:

The sidereals of the Valtan raid (NPCs that help your team fight through the hordes of enemies inside the raid) include:
- Thirain, Completed Vanquisher
- Wei, Awakened Dochul
- Balthorr, Arcturur's Breath
As for the rewards that Valtan hides away from you and that you'll get access to once this annoying brute is dealt with (i.e. destroyed), here's what you should expect:
- Gold (lots of it)
- Gear crafting reagents (legendary, relic)
- Relic accessories
- Honing mats
- Ability stones
And so much more. Also, there are several treasure chests in the raid that contain even more spoils but opening them is not free – you literally have to pay gold to do that. Most of the time, however, it's worth it so don't be afraid to lose more than you'll receive.
