What is Garden of Salvation?

Garden of Salvation is a Destiny 2 raid located in the mysterious Black Garden, which is deemed to be the birthplace of the Vex. Not the best creatures to be a birthplace of, for sure, but that's not something that places choose too! Originally Garden of Salvation was a core feature of the Season 8 experience. It was released at the very beginning of the Shadowkeep expansion (Year 3, 2019). Nevertheless, the raid remains quite popular even several years after that as it is the source of one of the best trace rifles in the game, the Divinity. 

What bosses can I find there?

There are 4 bosses inside the Garden and those bosses are:

  1. Evade
  2. Summon
  3. Consecrated Mind
  4. Sanctified Mind

The first two names look weird and that's because they are not the full names – they are shorter versions of them. Both first two encounters deal with... the Consecrated Mind. Yes, that's what the third encounter is called on our list! It's confusing as hell, as for some reason the developers decided to dedicate entire 3 fights to one and the same character. So in the first one you "evade" the Consecrated Mind: that is, you don't fight it, but you have to complete various tasks and defeat waves of enemies while the boss is actively trying to make your life worse. In the second encounter, you have to spoil the fun for the Vex by ruining their ritual of summoning the Consecrated Mind. How can it be summoned if we've already met it a couple of minutes ago in the "evade" encounter? Oh, it's complicated, don't ask. Destiny 2's lore is confusing enough to make it clear here so we won't even try. Anyway, in the third encounter which is listed above as the Consecrated Mind proper, you will finally get the opportunity to kick this mind's ass. It's not going to be very easy but once you're done, it's quite satisfactory. The final boss, Sanctified Mind, also has some close connection to the Consecrated one, but well, whatever. It's not our thing to explain the lore (which we admit to not always having a great understanding of) – we're way better at helping you beat raids! So if you want to cut a long story short, so to speak, our pro fireteam is always there for you!

What weapons can I get there?

There are 7 legendary weapons that you can get in GOS by simply defeating its bosses. There's also the Divinity which is a renown trace rifle that everybody loves. Oh yes, and it's exotic. You can't get it by just killing bosses, you gotta complete a complicated quest line to obtain it and there's no other way to accomplish that, unfortunately. Anyway, we'll include it on the list but will make another note there that it doesn't just drop as a random reward. So here's the complete 8-item list of the Garden's weapons:

  1. Accrued Redemption (legendary kinetic precision bow) – boss: Evade (1/4)
  2. Ancient Gospel (legendary solar adaptive hand-cannon) – boss: Consecrated Mind (3/4)
  3. Divinity (exotic trace-rifle) – exotic quest
  4. Omniscient Eyes (legendary rapid-fire sniper-rifle) – boss: Sanctified Mind (4/4)
  5. Prophet of Doom (legendary arc precision shotgun) – boss: Summon (2/4)
  6. Reckless Oracle (legendary void rapid-fire auto-rifle) – boss: Summon (2/4)
  7. Sacred Provenance (legendary kinetic aggressive pulse-rifle) – boss: Consecrated Mind (3/4)
  8. Zealot's Reward (legendary void rapid-fire fusion-rifle) – boss: Evade (1/4)

Another raid, another way to distribute its rewards among bosses. Some raids have most of their weapons gathered in the last boss' loot table and some, like GOS, leave it with just one gun to offer. You never know how Bungie will have it so we've just learnt to put up with it. Regardless of which of these weapons you need, we can do it for you – and you will hardly ever find an easier way to collect these rewards than in the company of our team.

What armor drops there?

Kentrach 3 is the name of GOS armor sets. All 3 of them, right. Despite having the same name, each of these sets is meant for a particular class and has a unique appearance. You can get it one piece at a time by successfully finishing encounters of the GOS. Here's when to expect each piece to drop:

  1. Evade: legs
  2. Summon: arms
  3. Consecrated Mind: chest
  4. Sanctified Mind: head, class item
