How exactly do you earn the Emperor title?

To earn the Emperor rewards you should participate in the biggest PvP mode of the Elder Scrolls Online – the Alliance War. Any campaign will do, so just play the one you have a particular liking for. Yes, your Emperor costume currently stays in your collection for as long as you want. It's not taken away even if you lose your Emperor status (that is, if you fall below the top-1 position in your alliance's rankings). It once used to be taken away but no longer. Do you keep the Emperor title forever?

There are 5 unique abilities that you get as the Emperor and you can only use them as long as you remain one and as long as you stay in Cyrodiil. The abilities are: Domination, Authority, Monarch, Tactician, and Emperor. "Domination" increases your recovery of health, magicka, and stamina by 100% while in combat. "Authority" speeds up your generation of Ultimate by 100%. "Monarch" makes all the incoming healing 50% more effective. "Tactician" raises your Siege Weapons damage inflicted on fortifications by 100%. And "Emperor" just plainly makes your health, magicka, and stamina 75% bigger. So with all those bonuses it becomes a little bit easier to secure your number 1 spot – but don't get too relaxed!
