What is the Deep Stone Crypt raid in Destiny 2?

Deep Stone Crypt is a Destiny 2 raid that was added during Season of the Hunt (#12). It was the very beginning of the Beyond Light expansion lifecycle (Year 4). It's not the longest raid as it features just 4 encounters, however the action inside the raid is quite intense which might make it feel longer than it is. It takes you to so many places and has so many story-related twists: you gotta clear the Crypt from the House of Salvation, crash an entire orbital station into a moon, and face a notorious mercenary on top of that. Simply put, it's going to be lots of fun!

Who are its bosses?

There are 4 principal encounters in this raid and they are:

1. Crypt Security
2. Araks-1, Fallen Exo
3. Rapture
4. Taniks, the Abomination

Taniks will prove to be quite a nuisance as his tireless character leads him to plotting against you and trying to eliminate you all the time. But the good news is that you finally defeat him at the end of the raid – but it won't be easy! If you go with PUGs, that is – it will be much faster and less tiresome with our pro team!

What weapons can I find in DSC?

There is a total of 7 weapons and each of them is tied to a particular encounter. Here's the full list:

1. Bequest (legendary adaptive arc sword) – drops from Taniks (4/4)
2. Commemoration (legendary adaptive void machine gun) – drops from Taniks (4/4)
3. Eyes of Tomorrow (exotic solar rocket launcher) – drops from Taniks (4/4)
4. Heritage (legendary precision kinetic shotgun) – drops from Atraks-1 (2/4)
5. Posterity (legendary precision arc hand cannon) – drops from Rapture (3/4)
6. Succession (legendary kinetic sniper rifle) – drops from Atraks-1 (2/4)
7. Trustee (legendary rapid-fire solar scout rifle) – drops from Crypt Security (1/4)

As you can see, the loot table in Deep Stone Crypt is rather imbalanced as the last boss drops so many different weapons while other encounters offer 1 to 2 rewards. That means that you will likely have to focus your grinding effort on the last boss. It's not something truly extraordinary as it's usually the last boss that drops an exotic and players clear the whole raid anyway but still. With our pro team, it won't matter much to you: we'll run through the DSC fast and without impediment.

What armor can I find in DSC?

The so-called Legacy's Oath Suit is the set that you can obtain in the Crypt. The name is the same for all 3 variations of it: one for each class. The looks differ too. We're not sure why Bungie didn't care to come up with a unique name for each of them but whatever. That's not the weird thing they've ever done anyway.

Thankfully, armor is more distributed among encounters than weapons and you have a chance to find 3 different pieces after beating each. Here's what you should expect:

1. Crypt Security: arms, legs, class item
2. Araks-1: arms, legs, class item
3. Rapture: chest, arms, class item
4. Taniks: head, chest, legs

The distribution is not even though, so you can only expect the helmet to drop from the last boss while the class item, gauntlets, and pants drop after almost every fight. Despite the weirdness of the loot table in this raid, if you want to collect this set – you will. And with our help, you will do it even sooner!
