It's this time of the year again – December is already here! That means that the Trading Post has updated and we're now eager to learn what it has in store of us! The short answer is: a lot! Mounts, pets, transmog – choose whatever you like! Naturally most of items in the post have something to do with the holidays – but not all. Let's take a look at the top 5 items in the post this season in our view!

Murloc Pajama
Items' names: Ensemble: Purple Snugglefin Murloc Romper
What is it: a cosmetic armor set
Get it for: Filling the monthly progress bar
A murloc pajama is exactly the kind of outfit you'd want to wear on the Christmas morning. Unwrapping gifts near the fireplace in the company of parents and siblings... Well, let's not let nostalgia get in the way. This onesie is a simple fun item that we finally get a chance to obtain for free. The only other similar item set (Green Snugglefin Murloc Romper) can be purchased in the cash shop.
The set has 2 head items: one with fangs (Angry Purple Snugglefin Murloc Hood) and one without (Happy Purple Snugglefin Murloc Hood). While the former does look like it's showing its teeth with some not so very good intentions, the latter doesn't exactly look very happy! More like astonished! But that's still okay – they both are hilarious!
Christmas Hammer
Item's name: Cheerbringer XL
What is it: a 2-handed Mace transmog
Get it for: 450 Trader's Tenders
Now this design is so much in the spirit of the season! You don't just whack your enemies like moles on their heads – you do it with Christmas presents! That must make those blows softer for them – yet the damage figures remain the same for you! A win-win situation! (That's a joke, there's no real way to make hits softer for your enemies – too bad for them, we suppose)
But the design is really fun anyway. Something to apply to your war hammer during these merry days of the winter holidays.

Purple Flying Fox Mount
Item name: Twilight Sky Prowler
What is it: a flying mount
Get it for: 750 Trader's Tenders
Not all things in this month's Trading Post have to be related to Christmas and New Year. This... flying fox?.. doesn't have any obvious connection to either, for instance. But it's still an enjoyable mount to see, ride, and have in your garage.
This fox used to be a limited-time product in the cash shop. Now you can't buy it and it becoming available for a month before Christmas can actually be seen as a gift in its own right. Grab it before it goes, it's absolutely worth it!
Christmas Shield
Items' names: Aegis of Yuletide
What is it: a Shield transmog
Get it for: 300 Trader's Tenders
This shield has something resembling a colossal mint candy right in the center of it! Too bad you can't taste it... But the shield is still awesome, especially if you combine it with the last year's Candied Blade sword that looks like a candy cane (it's back on sale this month, by the way!). Warriors and paladins will have lots of fun with them for sure!
What about non-cosmetic gear?

Warm Earmuffs

What is it: a cosmetic head transmog
Get it for: 170 Trader's Tenders each
Have you ever wondered if your character's precious ears ever get cold in chilly zones like Winterspring, Icecrown, or Azure Span? We believe that any elf (or goblin, or whoever!) would tell you that they do – all the way to the tips! Here's a perfect item to keep your champions warm this winter. These earmuffs are stylish and you can show support to your faction with them!

Those were the best 5 items from the Trading Post in December 2024, in our opinion. But it doesn't mean that the rest are not good! Quite on the contrary: there are lots and lots of wonderful things to buy if you have enough spare tenders. There's an awesome frost golem mount called Dim Coldflame Core for you to brave the cold lands on. Or how about Mitzy, a reindeer pet with a glowing nose? And there many more noteworthy wares available there this time!
