What is actually the Woods raid in EFT?
It's easy to guess what the place with such name looks like – it's literally Woods. There are various subzones, some of which are more of a thicket, while some others have much fewer trees than the rest, but the idea remains the same throughout it. It's supposed to be completed within about 40 minutes and by 10-14 players. It has lots of scavs (who else!) and cultists as well as multiple bosses, some of which can also be found in the Shoreline zone: Knight, Big Pipe, Birdeye. One boss that is present here but not in the Shoreline is Shturman who chills at the sawmill and has a unique stash key as well as the Red Rebel Ice pick.
This map is not exactly enormous but it has enough content to spend sometime there as well as visit it repeatedly. It features groves, hills, logging camps, and even 2 secret bunkers. It's also worth mentioning that it's the third ever map that the game got which already makes it OG, so to speak!
What extractions can I complete in the EFT Woods?
16 extractions are what you can entertain yourself with in the Woods map (as of September 2023). 8 of them are available to scavs only, 3 are exclusive for PMCs, and the remaining 5 can be completed by anyone. Here are 6 of the Woods extractions:
