Who are these Earthen?

They are an allied race introduced in the War Within expansion. While it's similar to dwarves and Black Iron dwarves in appearance, they have their own lore, aesthetics, racial abilities, and class lineup.

The Earthen are titan-related stone dwarf race that are native to the island of Khaz'Algar where we head to in the War Within expansion. There we can find their capital city Dornogal as well as lots of smaller settlements most of which are charming and look very liveable.

Since this allied faction can choose to join either faction, it's peculiar that they will become the third dwarf-shaped race for the Alliance alongside the already mentioned regular Dwarves (introduced in the base game in 2004) and Black Iron Dwarves (introduced at the end of the Legion expansion in 2018). For the Horde, however, they will be the first race of this kind. That makes the balance of unique race shapes a bit tilted towards the Horde. Hopefully, the Alliance will get a similar bonus soon.

Which faction do the Earthen join?

The Earthen are a neutral allied faction – the first of its kind – that can join both the Alliance and the Horde depending on your preference. Previously we've only had faction-specific allied races: that is, they couldn't choose between the factions, they were bound to one of them. However, we've already had 2 neutral regular races: Pandarens and Dracthyrs. A regular race is different from an allied race in that you don't have to meet any requirements before creating a character of a regular race. Conversely, you have to unlock an allied race for that first.

How to unlock the Earthen?

To unlock the Earthen you need to complete storylines related to that race in Khaz Aglar alongside the main campaign of the island. While the process of completing all those things is certainly not fast and is expected to last throughout the leveling process (70-80) and beyond, you can greatly speed it up with the help of our boosting service. Which classes do the Earthen have?

The only 3 classes unavailable to the rock dwarves are Demon Hunter, Druid, and Evoker. But those classes are quite rare and can be used by a handful of races so it's not surprising.
