What is Bedlam Veil boost?

What kind of dungeon is Bedlam veil?

Bedlam Veil is a terrifying land of demons inhabited by monsters of all kinds alongside crazy cultists. It's what's known as demiplane. You can get there via a special portal in Wrothgar. The Veil is known as a sort of a treasury of Fa-Nuit-Hen and you can rest assured that your little raid to that place will be worthwhile. Lots of useful loot awaits!

It's also worth mentioning that it was released alongside another dungeon Oathsworn Pit as a part of the Scions of Ithelia DLC. Which in its turn was a part of the conclusion of the Shadow Over Morrowind chapter. And it was there where you could find some important hints on the story of the Gold Road chapter which followed it.

What bosses does it have?

In this dungeon you can find 3 bosses and 3 minibosses. First the 3 normal bosses:

1. Shattered Champion
2. Darkshard
3. The Blind

The Shattered Champion is a crystalline giant that moves around the battlefield surprisingly fast for his size. The second boss, Darkshard, is a nightmarish creature with several extra insect-like limbs coming from her back. And that similarity with insects is not random, it's there as a hint for us. As the battle with Darkshard progresses, you'll learn that she can turn into a giant spider! And not jus that, she has several powerful creatures trapped in her web. She releases them one by one to help her in her fight against you. Those powerful creatures are actually the 3 minibosses that we've mentioned. And they are:

1. Argonian Behemoth
2. Champion of Atrocity
3. Maxus the Many

You'll have to fight them all within one encounter with Darkshard. Frankly, this second boss must be the source of most headache in the dungeon.

However, it would be a mistake to call the last boss a lesser nuisance. The Blind is a sturdy humanoid with a staff who can levitate, jump high up in the air, cast all sorts of spells, and so on. For some reason, he's especially keen on casting AOE spells so beware. You'll have to move around the battleground quickly in search of safe spots that won't be numerous (especially in the Veteran mode).

What armor sets does it have?

There are 4 sets in Bedlam Veil:

1. Blind Path Induction
2. Reflected Fury
3. Tarnished Nightmare
4. The Blind

The first 3 sets are regular 5-piece dungeon armor sets. Let's take a closer look at what makes them special:

There's one more set which is The Blind monster set. Just as it's usually the case with this type of armor, you can get the helmet half of it as a reward for defeating the related boss. Who in this case is very conveniently called the same as the armor set – The Blind. The one-item bonus of the set increases your critical chance. The 2-item bonus makes your critical healing apply a damage shield that also activates a critical damage increase.
