What are Infinite Potions and how to get them in Black Desert Online?

You can't make an item more reusable than infinite. And that's exactly why Infinite Potions are superior! A consumable that never ends sounds like something that shouldn't exist! It's cheating, it just defies the very idea of it being "consumable". But it's reality, not a dream. In Black Desert Online you can get an item like that! In this blog post we'll tell you about what it is and how you can obtain it.

If you hate it when you run out of potions, you must have wondered what would your life be if you didn't have to worry about it. And you don't have to wonder anymore – you can make that dream a reality. Infinite Potions – just like their name suggests – are bottles of useful liquids that never run dry.

Those bottles are rather heavy (20 LT) and occupy room suitable for 20 XL potions. However, those 20 potions can and will eventually end, while the infinite bottles are there forever. You don't have to purchase any more potions at all no matter how long your BDO adventure is! And the best part is that all your character can use it as this item is stored in the family inventory.

But let's consider the former option: grinding materials for those potions. Let's see what that will take.

Here are the 5 items required for the HP infinite potion:

The idea is to first collect 3 extremely rare items and then collect 2 more. There are 2 ways you can receive those first 3 items: they can just drop to you from particular mobs if you're very, very lucky, or you can assemble them from a huge amount of other items that come to you more easily (they are also known as pity pieces). 

The NPC responsible for everything related to the HP infinite potion is Merindora and you can find her in Grana. All sorts of interaction aimed at getting the potion or learning more about it can be made with her so don't be shy and chat with her whenever you need.

Also, don't forget about weekly quests that can yield you as many as 5 pity pieces. Out of 100 right – it's very generous indeed. Those quests can be obviously done only once a week and are reset on Thursday. They consist of defeating a particular number of enemies in some area. "A particular number" might seem like nothing special but it's usually thousands: 3, 4, or even more. So prepare for another grindfest.

Markthanan's Gland	Tshira Ruins	Either collect 100 Katzvariak's Venoms (drop from all monsters in the area) or kill these particular monsters until they drop the item: Afuaru Grove Keeper Leaf Keeper Vine Keeper
Narc's Crimson Tear	Manshaum Forest	Either collect 100 Narc's Solaces (drop from all monsters in the area) or kill these particular monsters until they drop the item: Afuaru Manshaum Great Warrior Manshaum Shaman
Night Crow's Dawn Stone	Garmoth's Nest	Collect 100 Dragon Scale Fossils. You can only start collecting them after you've assembled Markthanan's Gland, Narc's Crimson Tear, and Valtarra's Clairvoyance.
Valtarra's Clairvoyance	Navarn Steppe	Either collect 100 Valtarra's Memories (drop from all monsters in the area) or kill these particular monsters until they drop the item: Afuaru Baby Belladonna Elephant (must be killed with the Tanning Knife) Belladonna Elephant Ferrica Ferrina

Assembling the Mana infinite potion is not much different from doing the same with the HP one. The same NPC is in charge – Merindora in Grana. Other areas to grind in are involved though, but that doesn't make the process entirely different. Pity pieces serve the same function, so do weekly quests.
